One way or another, God’s will is always done.  This year He is forcing us to slow down, clear out the noise, and celebrate Christmas as we have never before.  FAITH has been known for decades as doing Christmas BIG … we have had staged plays, concerts, festivals, etc.  This year is going to feel like a fast from all of that busyness because it will be a fast.  This year we will strip things down, make things deliberate, purposeful, and meaningful.  This year, we will do what we always should be doing … anticipate… or as our ancestors would call it: ADVENT.

 

ADVENT is the process of anticipation - anticipating God’s plan brought to fruition.  While we are no longer anticipating Christ’s birth, we are anticipating His return. Christmas gives us the excuse to remember the eternal impact of His first visit while we longingly look to His second.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Each Monday-Saturday of the Advent season, a member of our FAITH Family will give testimony to how much hope, joy, peace, and love means in their life via daily video.  We will honor the Lord through scripture and prayer each morning on Youtube and Facebook at 8:00a.

 

WEEKLY WORSHIP CONCERTS

Wednesdays at 7p - 12/2 (acoustic), 12/9 (Orchestra), 12/16 (Christmas with The 8:30 Band and Orchestra)

These will be virtual-only experiences that will be streamed on Youtube and Facebook.  We hope these moments of worship will enhance our advent.

 

ADVENT WREATHS

We will have wreaths available for each FAITH family (Suggested donation is $10, but free if you cannot afford it). We will be explaining each of the advent candles during Sunday worship services.  Each family is encouraged to use the wreath as an opportunity to gather, share, worship, and anticipate. If you are still not attending worship in person and would like an advent wreath for your family, you can reserve one HERE 

 

CHRISTMAS EVE IN A BOX

This year, we will not be worshipping in a large-gathering. For the first time in 59 years of FAITH, we will be decentralizing our holiday worship into our living rooms.  We are challenging each family to host Christmas Eve at your house. Invite neighbors, coworkers, and family. Host your small group. Host friends. We will supply you with improv skits, games, recipes, and discussion questions along with a DVD (or web link) to a special Christmas Eve worship video.  This will be a year to remember!

FUN FRIDAYS (12/4 and 12/18 at 7p)

Pastor Tim and Pastor Jeff will be live on 2 different Friday nights this December for a fun time of games, music, and for all ages.​ Look for them on Youtube and Facebook.
